According to a study from The Boomer Project, nearly one in 10 adult children believe they will take on caregiving responsibilities, but only 47 percent were knowledgeable about their parents' medical conditions, nearly half could not name any of the medications their parents take and 40 percent did not know the name of their parents' primary physicians or if they had one.
